i'll admit, with the driver mod and light mods, they are faster than i thought. i did run one in my old S/C tacoma (~400hp) on the freeway, and i was really disappointed in the vette (base c-6, prob ls2). p.s, i didnt say you were smoking anything

U can't compare a V8 to our V6, both are great motors, but that extra 90 hp in the V8 plus the added torque is alil too much for a 370Z to keep up with. Thats why the 370Z will be a beast with a supercharger & bolt-ons/tune.

I can see how it is hard to stay on topic seeing as there aren't any superchargers out for the 370, but I don't care how important your ls w/etf is or what your 1/4 mile time is (unless it's relevant like a supercharged z), don't post it here go start a thread somewhere titled "Let's All Fight Like Drunks For 7 Pages About LS vs. VQ"
Edit: OMG I can't stop laughing when I read that |

what he means is his wifes gt with the 6.0 ls4 v8 will smoke his nismo
The gxp gets the 6.2 which will really smoke his nismo but then again he has the nismo which is by all accounts that i've ever seen in no way faster than the sport so we might as well just say his 370 Edit: dammit i participated in it. Oh the death of a thread... |

Immediately below is the dyno sheet showing bone stock vs bolt-ons on my LT4 Corvette. The car ran a 12.72 on factory tires and gears. On the next run it ran a 8.19 1/8th which was quicker but in power shifting 4th gear, I broke the syncro. It would easily have run a 12.6 or even a high 12.5 had I not broken the gear. This was the only track session (total of 5 runs) with the car in this configuration and I was in a learning curve as to what the car liked and how to drive it.
Stock vs bolt on mods picture by dennylmclain - Photobucket After 3 blocks, 4 sets of heads, 7-8 camshafts, 3 sets of headers, three intakes and literally 100's of dyno pulls the car ran a 10.82 on M/T slicks. Here's the dyno sheet. Remember I'm a stickler on average hp within intended application and the car was capable of more peak hp, but when shifting at 7200 rpm the car made more overall power using this head/cam combination. The best N/A pull was 481 but I misplaced the dyno sheet. Best on Nitrous was over 700. 472 sae run picture by dennylmclain - Photobucket |

Back on topic... If we wanted to know about a crappy domestic we would log into the slowvette forums. Does anyone have any more information on the GTM Supercharger?
Just a note here before you flame me for talking chit about the corvette, I owned one, worked on several, would never own one again.... the ONLY good thing about the vette is the motor.... everything else in my opinion is garbage....... |
