Yeah I sure as hell would hope it didn't sound like that! I couldn't live with that noise on my car even if it was like the most reliable 1000+HP car with 50+MPG and only cost $50 bucks to install!
But if it got me laid...... i might reconsider ![]() Last edited by Togo; 07-19-2009 at 10:55 PM. |

A 6PSI supercharger will be quite quiet. You shouldn't hear anything until you're high in the RPMs. Daily driving a twin-screw S/C is like driving a non-S/C'd car... You won't even know it's there until you step on the gas.

Hmm how about dual Rotrex units like this...
![]() ETA: That silver one sounds louder than my 350 did when I put the Vortech on, wtf is up with his bypass valve? Mine was a pretty harsh woosh, it fluttered when I put the vac/boost lines on wrong. I like the sound personally! Last edited by GMZ; 07-21-2009 at 04:18 PM. |

Im not sure, I imagine that one of the tuners could make it work as I dont think the GT-R's block itself is that dissimilar from ours. But it would be well over $10K because a basic HKS Rotrex kit is almost $7K by itself. Thats just for parts, with labor and custom piping, Im going to guess and say that it would probably be a $20K venture. Twin superchargers would be pimp though!
