Well.. From my understanding, there was no necessity to post this on a forum.. maybe only after the dispute has been cleared. so you might take a loss there.
But regardless, just go ahead with your action. It is evident that you have suffered a loss through (whether that be negligence, wilful conduct) you have every right to launch a legal action.. either on tortious or contractual grounds. I do not have right to give you a legal advice, and do not condone you to take my advice. I am merely giving you my opinion. Last edited by sinceday1; 04-16-2010 at 12:04 PM. |

Not sure why you are posting this, this legal matter clearly is an on going matter which means you should be biting your tongue on posting this until it settles.
Whether you want people to be aware and informed is fine, but what you are mostly seeming to be focusing on is your legal issue which is still undetermined and this post is now free usage to be used in your case, for good or bad.

WOW you guys are harsh. I read his post and he has a legitimate complaint and evidence to support his claims. I feel the forum needs to see these stories so they can make the best decisions when choosing the right shop! This clearly goes to show that the earlier mentioned fall boy for Forged Performance is just that a FALL BOY! An easy way to place the blame and let things disappear with no justification for the poor work done. Honestly, I like you guys dont want to keep hearing the stories but hey guess what its a necessity!!! why? because it lets us know who is a credible shop and who isnt!
I know of the Attorney the OP is using and they have a very solid case from what I have heard. The reputation for that attorney also is that they wont take the case unless it is a sealed deal kind of thing and they know they are going to win. I told you guys earlier there are more stories and this isnt the last of them. Just be prepared for more of them to show up. All the comments of "if you do 100 car builds and 1 goes bad thats a 99% success rate and thats good!" is a load of CRAP and goes to show if they did this to one car then what about the others.... (in my mind I would go double check all the work performed on my car to make sure this type of work wasnt done to me). This thread should not be locked and should be left open for actual discussion not a bunch of conjecture and fan boys one way or the other. Rather the discussion should be on the facts that are laid out before us! So to you complainers go spend your money and get burned because it was to painful for you to read and be informed of the risks!

Just kidding. (Wouldn't it suck if you typed all that and for some reason nobody could see it?) But yeah, that's a lot of info. There's so much detail in your posts(s) that it's like a legal brief. Heyyyyy . . . you sure your lawyer didn't write this?

The issue here is this is an on going legal matter, meaning it needs to stay private until a verdict is reached. The story can still be posted at a later date, but not until after the legal procedures are done, just trying to help the OP.

OP,
Does your lawyer know you posted this? I would never advise my own clients on posting this on a public forum with pending legal action. Who is your attorney? IBTL |
