I suggest some of your google this : "Forged Perfomance expirence!!!". I know it is misspelled but this is how the OP titled each of his original threads. There are many threads on various G35,G37 and 350Z. I am surprised to see this judge, jury and executioner actions this community has decided to take on. You haven't heard any evidence yet and the community is ready to bash and defame a legitimate business.
It's funny to see how people's feelings about certain companies are swayed at the drop of a hat. Google "Forged Perfomance expirence!!!" Sit down and read all that has been posted and said. Its easy to sit back and bash without a true context of what happened. Forged has explained themselves and their reasons for their actions. I rest assured Forged will explain their situation. |

Being a good man doesn't justify these kind of business practices. Ohhh and btw sharif approved a majority of these modifications... He can't blame it on his employees... He is the captain of the forged performance ship and is responsible for every vehicle that leaves his shop! I for one would never ever ever let a build like that go on in my shop! I work on hi end race bikes with their electrical systems, data acquisition, camera systems and race prep/installs. Each bike is inspected and worked on like a jet fighter. Everything is accounted for and triple checked! I have never had a customer complaint that wasn't immediately addressed and fixed at ourcost not the customers!

If their explanation was so great on other threads, it should have just been cut n pasted four hours ago. |

This isn't a single event and there are several stories that are yet to be posted of projects just like this one from forged performance!

OP's Post here on the370z.com states: "I was made to pay for parts for a new short block. I never wanted a built block. I wanted the safe 500whp promised on my stock motor." OP's Post on G37 Forum states : So shariff agrees to fix the car at no charge, back to Stock! we said screw it lets build it, we ordered upgraded rods and pistons!!! I do this for a living. I hear two stories and find discrepancies. I don't think a cut and paste response would be advisable. I have no dog in this fight. However, as an advocate of fairness and justice, I hate to see things like this blow up on the forums, with such a one sided bashing and as I stated before, border line defamation. |

There are way more stories of success and satisfaction about Forged. Like I have stated before, true Z veterans( people have owned more than one Z and longer for than a year) know about Forged and their products and customer satisfaction. I am just saying... A simple Google search would display this. Let's see what they have to say to defend themselves. |

"parts for a new short block" is actually messed up as well, unless he's talking about the rods and pistons for said "short block" (motor.)
WOW, props for going prem, but it's not like you know the true story either. as I stated, we're critiquing 2 things here: 1 - the work 2 - the lack of explanation

I can tell you that sharif most likely had a hand in convincing him on building the block rather than going back stock.

I have read all the stories and I have heard both sides of the story. Now I am waiting on forged performance's "official response" and not the I loaned him my wife's car response. Let's leave it to the facts! Why did sharif let that car leave his shop? Why did he let his employees butcher that kit?

I agree on the point that there are likely MANY more success stories than horror stories. They wouldn't have the rep they do if they didn't. And I'm not going to say whether Sharif pushed him into buying parts, or how that worked out, I'll leave that to them.
However, the only thing I wonder about is the quality of that install. The blown motor I can go either way on, but how do you let a car like that leave the shop? |
