Forged Perfomance and my G37 TT build

I'm sure Forged will reply when they get around to it. For those complaining at lack of response. They did respond, saying they will post their version soon. I'm sorry

I'm sure Forged will reply when they get around to it. For those complaining at lack of response. They did respond, saying they will post their version soon. I'm sorry but 4 hours is not a lot of time during normal business hours. Maybe they are taking their time to give this thread the well thought out and documented response that "appears" neccesary.

Chances are those who would jump on them before hearing their side are potential customers they dont want anyway.

Just saying...

I agree on the point that there are likely MANY more success stories than horror stories. They wouldn't have the rep they do if they didn't. And I'm not going to say whether Sharif pushed him into buying parts, or how that worked out, I'll leave that to them.

However, the only thing I wonder about is the quality of that install. The blown motor I can go either way on, but how do you let a car like that leave the shop?

OP's Post here on the370z.com states: "I was made to pay for parts for a new short block. I never wanted a built block. I wanted the safe 500whp promised on my stock motor."

OP's Post on G37 Forum states : So shariff agrees to fix the car at no charge, back to Stock! we said screw it lets build it, we ordered upgraded rods and pistons!!!

I do this for a living. I hear two stories and find discrepancies. I don't think a cut and paste response would be advisable. I have no dog in this fight. However, as an advocate of fairness and justice, I hate to see things like this blow up on the forums, with such a one sided bashing and as I stated before, border line defamation.
You see that as a discrepancy and I read it as someone who A) doesn't speak English well and probably didn't represent the situation properly and B)didn't want to risk another OEM block. Always differing points of view.

I have *now* heard both sides of this story. Until today I had only heard Sharif's side. I can honestly say that his side doesn't add up. Juan's does. The pictures do not lie. Me? No dog in this fight, either. But, I am always going to speak up when their is obvious Vendor bias.

If this is the OP's disaster pre-Forged, I smell fish.
As I read it, this is how the car left Forged and arrived at GTM? How could this be remotely something that the OP did on his own? Seriously, posts like this are utterly inane.

.

No vendor bias as there has never been any money exchanged between Forged and myself. I am speaking to Forged's reputation from the countless satisfied customers. Like I said, a simple google search or breeze through my350z.

I have never had a windshield sticker with Forged's name on it...cough cough

"it means that, like me, he's a rolling free advertisement for Forged Peformance... but, since my car is becoming so well known, i'm going to start renting windshield space...

HEAR THAT, sharif!? i need some free labour or i'm going back to the "clean" look! *lol*"

best to just sit back wait for Forged to respond, and please stop feeding the troll.

The comment re: vendor bias wasn't directed at you. And, yes, as you well know, I was a big FP supporter as well as a good friend of Sharif's - which means, I know Sharif's side of all the stories. I know the good, the bad and the ugly. It also means that it took a LOT of evidence and comparing stories (such as you were doing) for me to come to the conclusions that I have.

Trust me when I say that there was no one who wanted to believe none of this was the truth more than I.

Your cool with me bro. I know alot of people hate, but I kinda like your assholeness. You back it up with facts, and strong knowledge on forced induction. I can respect that!

Back to the story - yes this horrible. Either way, if any of those images were a result of FP's install work, nothing more can be said except, damn!...

I really want to believe its not true and I wait for they're response...

If I read this thread correctly, Juan took the car to FP with 1500 miles on it and "no prior work performed". People seem to be asking a lot of questions that are answered in the original post.
