Will see how things turn out, i keep thinking our cars are so new. And that it will take time to work things out. Its been almost 2 years, and i feel things will start getting ironed out soon. I'm feeling a tad disappointed with my Z. But that's just me, love it, abuse it, then kick it to the curb! Its possible my Tune, wheels and suspension will revive my love for my car.

I do like the SC option for pure ease of installation / cost
Personally I think TT is the better option, but each their own, I am not knocking anyone who has splashed on the SC kits, just wish you guys the best in getting reliable, quick Z's.

Lets face it factory stock 370's are slugs.

So the kit has issues and Stillen has acknowledged that many times and has advised you to not drive the car while they work on a solution. How does that transform into it being kits that may blow an engine? The tune isn't correct on your car and Stillen has told you that they are working on a solution and in the meantime not to drive it, if your engine blows from driving on it you really have no one to blame but your self.

I'm sure Stillen is providing a rental car since he can't drive the car with their flawed tune..

You must be little late to the party. Its not like its been a few days or a few weeks its been 7 weeks. Go ahead and spend $10,000 on a kit and install to have your car inoperable. Then let me know how u feel

I know alot of people are going to get pissed about him saying that but it's true. I know alot of people that are giving him ****, bitched about alot less of things. Go buy a TV from the store and go home and plug it in and it doesn't work. Then after taking it back to the store they tell you they can't return it you have to call the company. Well you get home and call the company and they tell you, ohh were having issues with that model your going to have to wait 7 weeks to get it fixed. I know alot of you would be pissed and don't even try to act like you wouldn't. He has every right to be pissed off about, not only did he spend alot of money for the kit, but now he cant't even drive the car he bought. I don't know about you guys but I didn't buy my car so it can sit in a garage and look pretty. The truth of the matter is STILLEN F*C*JED UP period. Now they are doing what they can to fix the situation and I applaud them for that but that still doesn't mean he does not have the right to be upset and feel like he didn't get what he paid for. thats just my 2 cents.

Have you considered getting a custom tune, I bet you want the warranty but if it is tuned right and motor is not a lemon you really shouldn't need the warranty. I am sorry to hear how long you have been waiting for your car.

You know what I agree. Personnally I would have gotten a custom tune and asked stillen to help pay for it. In my eyes that would be awsome retribution. Help pay for custom tunes untill they get there tune down right. Give them a call and present this proposal

In week 5 of waiting for a tune from stillen, i talked to my shop about presenting this option to stillen. I was reminded that since i live in cali i should get the carb kit. ALso this would void any warranty implied by stillen. At the end of the day i just want what i paid for, the tuned carb kit.

yeah man, try to stick with their program as much as you can. we Cali boys need that CARB sticker. won't be fun getting a damn state ref ticket and having to remove everything and return back to stock just to pass CARB lol. i totally understand how you feel man, and hopefully they'll get you on the road asap.

Weiboy, does that mean your sc kit is actually CARB approved and has a CARB sticker on it?
