Any one can get or log from the vehicle if they have the relevant cables/sware, just throwing it out there as there is a real lack of 'actual' information relative to engine parameters.
The unfortunate part of their in house tune is that you are required to use it in order to receive their warranty which you pay for within the purchase price. You can choose to have it tuned elsewhere but then you void your warranty and lose what you paid for.

so then they should take some $$$$$ for not getting their tune or warranty. Stillen?

Yep - fair point, but really is it worth the 'cushion' of the supplied warrenty. (I have no idea the depth of the offered warrenty)

Got to pay to play and TBH if you FI a N/A motor you should be prepaired to fix it if it pops anyways IMHO.

Agreed Zsteve

It's probably leaned it out too much and\or aggressive timing. It just looks like as time progresses each car really needs to be custom tuned. Either they can't get the tune spot on or each car is that much more different.

^ Warranty that. What a horror story

My guess is low down timing to help build boost and to give better throttle response, gain some TRQ numbers from earlier peak etc.

They should sell the kit with the optional base map, as in , good enough to stay of boost and get you to a dyno, and highly recommend that the vehicle is custom tuned at recommended facilitys.

Turn key just does not seem to be cutting it on this occasion.

Pity as the more offerings out there the better for everyone.

Definately, there is no arguing that for sure. I did not realize Stillen has a tuner option which means that there is no tune but it also comes with no warranty either. I don't see a decreased price option for this "Tuner" package online but maybe a call to Stillen might get an answer.

I know all about paying to play, I could have supercharged, coilovered, and big brake kitted my Z with the amount I put into my 360hp '96 Saab lol. I still do it anyway though.

sorry that it didn't work for you!

i flashed my car at 7pm last night with the new tune and just came home from a drive and it drives very good, it also made very use able low end power. no more bogs, hard starts are gone too. only thing i haven't done is redline it and in full boost! the highest rpm i went was around 5k rpm and i am very sure the power is alot stronger than my previous tune. will update again once i test it out some more.

Any plans to throw it on a dyno & check A\F?

Under WOT\Boost you'll want it in the low to mid 11s, like the tune Chris mentioned.
