I expect my stage 2 some time in the near future from Sam at GTM.
Once i get it i will post the dyno results. It a safe bet to say that it will be along time till i get it.

Not trying to start ****, I see that people here love GTM and people on the other thread love stillen so this is always going to be an issue.
But has anyone gotten third party dyno numbers on this kit yet? As in, has anyone not installed/tuned at GTM have numbers yet? I saw that there were delays with parts casting, but some people already have them and installed and dynoed? |

About that... I think its straight retarded that you havent gotten your kit yet. Its as if theyve forgotten. Sure, I may not know the whole story, but id be on pissed mother to have already paid in full for my kit, and still waiting for it while I sit around twidling my thumbs watching kit after kit being installed, reviewed, tested, etc. While my money sits in their bank collecting interest and Ive still got nothing... Id be fuming. How do you stay patient?

Stage 2 is going to offer the 91 size compressor housing which is pretty much the biggest unit Rotrex offers in the C38 trim. This will be for the people that want to use longtube headers or test pipes (or just want to make more power in general). The stage 1 is too small to keep up with the lessen back-pressure, so if you have anything besides high flow cats and catback, your best bet is Stage 2.

Same update from my personal thread...
Here is where we stand... From the beginning the only problem (if you would even call it that) was the intake pipe which caused delays to ship in the first place. Well the newly casted pieces are ALOT thicker than the prototype. So basically the p-type is performing better than final version. They are taking the steps needed to completely bore out the inside to reach its intended spec. Its unfortunatly, because its one of the things out of their control and ofcoarse someone had to F up. Thats the gist of it right there...no gimmicks, no secrecy, no 'the car isnt running right', its simply that stupid casted intake piece. Believe me, Sam is working like mad trying to get this sorted out to overnight me the piece as soon as its available. I have my daily driver so it isnt a problem for me but I am anxious to finish this thing now! More updates as soon as I get the new piece (within the next week)

So these pieces are making your kit do what exactly? How much power did the car lose?
So they had to make some pieces thicker because there was a danger that it would fail and now the new pieces are too restrictive? Am I reading this right? Does that mean that the cars that are out there already, like Shumby's, have cast pieces that are too thin? |

I'm not sure where I said they had to make it 'thicker' because it was to thin.
here is how it works... You create a hand fabricated piece, be it from exhaust piping/aluminium/whatever. You then send it out to get replicated in casted form so the cost is lower than hand crafting it every single time. Well the casting company made it to thick on the inside which is basically choking the compressor. Thats it. Once it gets bored out to the same diameter as the prototype piece everything goes back to normal. See..that was easy.

Every kit that is out there is 100 % on the car and beaning driving by the customers. there is no cars that are down or have any sort of a safety or driveabilty problem or a check engine light or any thing like that . We did discover a little inconsistency in the intake peace which could lead to a boost taper over 6500 rpm, The rest of the power band is 100 % where is suppose to be . also few customer reported a little excessive flutter from the by pass valve on some vehicles which we are addressing right now . Overall customer are getting these kit, putting them on and driving away .
