Looks like I'll have enough saved up for FI in the next couple of months. Probably go with this kit once some more dynos are available. Really hoping to see some good numbers. The Stillen thread has been a huge disappointment. This kit seems promising.

thats true guys, im the owner of that G, Its powerfull, it have more torque than the 5AT..shift faster, but it will not last long.. I got transmission replacement from dealer although i was not stock. if you wanna FI your car with ur 7AT then i suggest you to wait for gtm to creat a valve body update, torque converter and etc etc etc. |

Thanks for asking! Slow, but I knew it would. I'm like third in line. But I told him to take his time. I didn't need the car back until March. Keeps it outa my garage (I have too many vehicles ), plus allows me to come up with a little more money for other things I want!!

You know when I logged in and saw that Sam had posted a reply I thought "Woah, he's answered the tranny issue already!".
Major letdown when I saw it was just a video, still good though. |

Now in regards to the Trans issue that you are speaking of, i don't have a crystal ball to tell what went wrong with the trans without doing a further tear down inspection and we are still waiting on the trans to arrive. I can tell you this, base on what we know this model transmissions will and can survive a extra horse power and torque but it needs to be handled correctly. I have a very good idea of what went wrong but i' m going to wait until we do the tear down inspection before i comment on the failure . Sam Last edited by SAM@GTM; 11-18-2010 at 07:42 AM. |

Im sure you AT guys will be in good hands with Sam. My guess is, that when Sam has some AT goodies avalible, the sky will be the limit on how much HP the tranny can handle
