I've got my kit on order Stage 1. I'm doing a base dyno and then doing another dyno after the install. engine has 1200 miles on it.
|
Disregarding the CARB visual inspection, would stage 1 technically allow the car to pass the emissions portion of the test?

Im lazy and dont want to search thru the 52 pages here - but how far along are you in your CARB approval? This is a major factor for me. Looking forward to doing more research into your products.

Yup, SAM and DannyGT pretty much summed it up. That being the case, I'm probably gonna hold off on a full review of the SC kit until I get my bypass valve flutter and intake pipe taken care of. But if anyone wants to see pics of the kit on my car, SAM posted it up on another thread. My car is the IP G37 with the black piping.

Assuming it passes the CARB tests as it stands, this kit allows the emissions monitors to set with no CEL? Meaning the AIR, cat test, evap test, so on an so on, these are needed to pass NYS inspection. |
