I doubt ECE matters here in belgium. :shakes head:

twin turbo/ supercharger setups here never get through the checkup and get redflagged atleast that is what my father and the dealer said

You are in luck

Sam

Silo 03-04-2010 05:23 AM

ECE matters in any country of the european community - if we can pass it through german TUV I doubt Belgium wouldn't accept it. But wasn't Belgium the "Wild West" for tuning in Europe? :D With the stealth look of the GTM kit they might not even notice the difference (imagine the piping powder coated black!) ;)

Vegitto-kun 03-04-2010 05:42 AM

I think the netherlands is more the tuning country.

We have ******** at the car check places.

I mean they redflag cars for the slightest thing.

but yeah I still would need to find a place that could put it on the car and as we al know you need good guys haha. the kit isn't for one of these days. First I need to be able to controll the damn thing with its stock power haha but yeah I AM interested

G37Sam 03-04-2010 08:28 AM

It's illegal here as well no matter how many certifications and stickers you put on it

You just have to know the right people and not attract unwanted attention on the roads

Why is it illegal?

My car is dropped as well. Not sure how much yours is compared to mine without seeing pictures...but I'll just tell you I was pretty worried about my car and it took some manuevering to get it on the truck but everything worked out great and we didn't have any problems. I was very pleased with how the whole experience went. Trust me...those drivers are in no big hurry to get your car on their truck and break something...they are liable...and not interested in shelling out tons of cash to fix your car for a few hundred dollars.

Was a good experience and I have no problems doing it again...and I baby the hell out of my car.

Hopefully that may ease some of your concerns...if it doesn't...I certainly understand.

Because it falls under "major modifications done to your engine"

Let's just saw they didn't choose the smartest kid in class to come up with the laws here lol

it will probably be the same thing here

kdoske 03-04-2010 10:06 AM

Sorry to hear about your obscure laws not allowing 'major engine modifications'. That really sucks. It's not the end of the world I suppose, it could always be worse.

basically a red card and you arent allowed to drive to car if you don't fix the problems they find

which would probably mean going back and taking the super charger off if that is even possible

Buddy Revell 03-04-2010 01:26 PM

Do they know enough about modding to spot it if you went with the black pipes and IC?

xiven 03-04-2010 01:36 PM

just take it off, let them do their inspection, leave and put it back on.

lets see visible spinning thing where there shouldn't be one.

I am pretty sure that they would notice :roflpuke2:

and just take it off and put it back on?

I don't even know how much it would cost to just put it on wouldn't be suprised if they ask about 1000 bucks per time

If you've seen GTM's setup, the blower is relatively hard to see.;)

Vegitto-kun 03-04-2010 01:42 PM

il just wait untill my warrenty is gone before putting it on since it probably obliterates the warrenty haha.

hooray for 3 year wait

Sam > With the intro price there is a before and after dyno included. Is that just for before/after hp/tq numbers or is there any fine tuning involved in that? The fuel/ecu managment is plug and play with no additional dyno tuning required correct?

Yes there is a before and after dyno, and yes the fuel/ecu management is a plug and play with no additional dyno tuning required .

But the kit does require a tune as part of the initial install?

No it does not, you will get a pretuned map. it is a 100 % plug and play, we give you the tools to flash the ecu yourself and its done .

oh ok thats cool.

fstrnldr 03-04-2010 10:11 PM

so since this seems to be the hot topic lately in that other thread are we going to see some "real world testing" soon?

kdoske 03-04-2010 10:19 PM

Maybe we should call TopGear on BBC and demand they destroy the new FI 370z's on the wet track.

LiquidZ 03-05-2010 06:53 AM

Sam, do you happen to have a compressor map for the C38-91 available?

Considering our supercharger kit will be sold in Europe with TUV approval, and also sold in Nissan dealership as an option on brand new cars through out the middle east (UAE Dubai- Qatar Doha ) backed up with Factory warranty, real world abuse/track testing was part of the development sense day one. i have been to Dubai 5 times in last 4 month and will be going over there again in the next couple weeks as our supercharger kit delivery day is approaching .

Our real world testing is still on going and we will have a complete write up in the coming weeks .

You won't be disappointed .

Sam
