RCZ 04-20-2010 11:48 PM

The last I heard, it was supposed to be towards the end of this month. I'll let Sam chime in if he knows any different.

JB-370z 04-21-2010 08:23 AM

Sam has 5 370z TT builds going on in the shop right now as we speak so I know he is busy and no telling what else he is working on as well. Plus the whole Forged Proformance thing last week took alot of bandwidth for him and his team. Hope to here more about the other stages of this kit as well.

RCZ 04-21-2010 12:10 PM

Umm so how many of you put deposits down?

We are still shooting for the end of the month as stated before.literally 97% of the kit is on the shelf and ready to go, we are just waiting on some casted peaces to get here.

Rest assure we are working very hard every day to meet our dead line. in top of many 370Z TT project, HR Sc 350z kit, Stage 2 and 3 testing, testing and tuning with the cobb accessport, DVD instruction for the 370z TT and the SC kit as Well. and going through carb process.

So our plate is more then full right now . But we are all over it

Sam

jmlenz 04-21-2010 09:44 PM

^ damn you guys have your work cut out for you no doubt

Chris_1 04-22-2010 10:12 AM

In this economy I am sure they are very happy to have their hands full lol.

i think most still wanted to see more information on the upgrades and are staying conservative untill the early adopters have figured out the kinks of the units (if there would be any).... i think there's shumby and danny that has placed their deposits...

its actually funny that u ask that because it baffles me who would place a deposit on any SC kit with out seeing all the information such as pics of all the parts associated to it, pics of all the parts installed, a dyno comparison against stock on a 370z (not g37), comprehensive video, net weight impact and such... im not saying GTM has all these information but imo GTM has presented more info about their kit than others... i guess more people interested on the GTM are just more conservative and are doing their due dilligence prior to shelling out even $500...

lastly, considering ur prior post, please dont bring up the whole "road testing vs dyno testing" arguments again... because you have to understand that one of the main disadvantages of liquid to air IC vs air to air IC is that liquid to air has way more variables than a2a when it comes to tuning...thats why stillen definitely needs to do more testwork than GTM... on top of that, Stillen has a history of fail on other SC kits...

RCZ 04-22-2010 01:00 PM

ugh, nvm, not worth it.

NYBladeZ 04-22-2010 01:50 PM

^^lol

I have faith that their SC kits will be worth the wait and definitely will be envious of the few early birds who took advantage of the discount.

Z eliminator 04-22-2010 05:48 PM

Now, since it a G 37, i guess that will be ok.
But mine will be the first 370 z.

DannyGT 04-23-2010 06:58 PM

...I put 50% down right away, and to answer some other questions (not sure if I'm supposed to say it, but o well) I heard back when the announcement first came out they already had 17 or so sold. I'm sure buy now there must be close to 30-40 with deposits or full payments.

shumby 04-24-2010 10:04 PM

Z eliminator.

the tranny cooler does not have a temperature bypass do you see any problems with this during our cold winters?

whiddles 04-24-2010 10:22 PM

damn you think the SC will put you in the 11s? what other mods you have?

shumby 04-24-2010 10:33 PM

Z eliminator 04-25-2010 10:17 AM

Other mods
full bolts on's intake, headers, cats, pulley's. cobb, 4.08 gears.
305/35/18 drag radials
320 rwhp.

12.4's to 12.5 will find out very soon.

its going to run at
least 11.78 to 11.80

Shumby I may have to cover the tranny cooler up during the winter.
This is not a good car to drive in the winter.

Can not wait to see your dyno charts from GTM.

So could you use somthing like the GTM Differential Cooler Controller kit, to control your temps on the tranny cooler?

There is a simpler solution and more cost effective then our diff controller kit .

You can just add an inline thermostatic controller valve. the part it self is less then hundred dollar.

shumby 04-25-2010 03:10 PM

^^^ well put me down for that Sam.

Z eliminator 04-29-2010 09:30 PM

I here there's some good news coming from GTM shortly.
Shumby your going to be a very happy man soon.
I think that there's going to be some really quick 1/4 mile time coming up here in Canada.

whiddles 04-29-2010 09:34 PM

i can't wait to see it.
