Talking Does the additional wt of TT or SC lower the front end of car?

as i am planning to get a TT or SC in a couple of months (if everything turns out as i have planned or planning ), i am curious as to how the additional weight would affect the stance.....

even without FI kit, i am still interested in getting spacers with eibach spring kit and anti-sway bar and installing wider tires. i do not think i could afford new set of rims , so i figure this would be the next best alternative.

also, i think OEM Rays look damn good to begin with, so i do not see any urgency for getting new rims - perhaps, had it not been for the foreseenable traction issues with FI, OEM Rays would not have been an issue.......

these are what i have gathered so far, please correct me if i am wrong:

1) my plan to get spacers with lowering spring and wider tires on OEM 19 inch Rays would effectively lower the stance even lower than just lowering the car with eibach springs

2) the additional wt of FI will lower the front end by an inch or two.

3) it is necessary to get an alignment after getting FI installed, for the additional wt will lower the stance and cause alignment issues.

how accurate are these info?

i just would like to learn more and minimize the unnecessary cost...... if a coilover is a must, then there is no point in wasting $300 in lowering springs, etc....

also, one more verification............

there is no need to do an alignment with OEM parts, rather it is realistically impossble for they are not adjustable...........

only solution to the alignment problem is to resolve issues with dysfunctional/bent OEM parts or to get a camber kit...........

so, unless you bend something or lower your car, you cannot have issues with the alignment?

is this accurate?

please DO NOT FLAME on my ignorance and KINDLY and PATIENTLY bear with me, just trying to learn.......

just show me the way to satisfy my insatiable passion to endeavor... to learn to be better informed.....

no. I dont even think you would notice it handling wise either unless you were pushing the car to its limits and comparing to stock.

I wouldn't worry about it. A passenger would have a greater effect on the weight.

I am not talking about the impact of a TT or SC on OEM stance..........

so, even with lowering spring kit, 15 and 20 mm spacers with 255/35 front and 295/30 rear tires on 19 inch OEM Rays, a TT or SC would not have issues in terms of stance?

The weight of a TT or SC (or its performance) will not affect stance. The stance may affect the performance available/useable by the TT or SC.

Take a 50 pound bag of sand and throw it on the front of your hood... that's what it will do to your stance. I think you'll have a difficult time noticing a difference.

And if you're that concerned, move your battery to the "trunk".

I agree with that 1000%. Not sure of the towing capacity of the Z, but it can't be anything big. A passenger used to make my S13 (CA18DET) feel significantly slower.

If you do it right you could see a traction / cornering power increase from coilovers and/or spacers, but I would think that you would have to do some calculations after making some test runs with your driving style.
