What else would I need to do to make 675+whp

Currently making 624whp 491tq. Vortech v3 cog drive, flex fuel, water meth, stage 1 block rods pistons retainers studs, 1300ID injectors dual twin pumps, soho intake z1 headers test pipes borla catback. Treadstone intercooler could be larger.. pondering what it may take to make 675-700 with the current setup? Worth it?

Spin the blower faster

Check the inside of the SOHO manifold to make sure there isn't any casting junk inside the passages. There have been pictures showing some of the passages almost completely blocked.

It's actually built off the stillen kit.

I just checked at has a 30 tooth pulley. When I dynod the car coupke weeks ago max boost I saw was 13.07. Any ideas on what it would do with a 28 tooth and re tune? Wonder about what the V3 could take safely. Maybe I should leave it alone... lol

I thought it was the AAM manifold that had the casting issues... SOHO has them too? Sheesh...

You need to find out how fast you're currently spinning the V3. They're rated at 52000 rpm max but I pushed mine to 62700 before it ate the oil slinger. Vortech has an online calculator to calculate the blower rpm

If you're making 625whp at only 13 psi, I'd leave it alone. Those are good numbers

What do you have on the inlet of the SC?

Just a soho intake that I had to fab in. Soho, V3, tredstone intercooler, stillin manifold, water meth injected after the intercooler

Get rid of your set up.

Realistically you're probably at the limits of the blower (I'm assuming a SI trim?), overspinning it will either lead to the implosion of the oil slinger or throwing it so far out of its efficiency range that you'll be superheating the intake air. If you want more, get a bigger blower.

I agree. Keep an eye out for the Topgun Rotrex Black Friday sale. :hello:
