I’m doing a private track day at the firm if you’re interested in November. $250.

A thread worthy of Facebook.

Sounds great except my car is not ready.

Stock Akebono Brakes (I want to upgrade the pads and rotors first, maybe some air ducting too)

Stock Oil Cooler (Obvi need an upgrade to hot lap) No problems for the street but running a stock oil cooler on a race track aint gonna be fun.

Stock Fuel Tank and Oil Pan (I want baffled variants for obvious reasons, I don't want to blow up due to oil or fuel starvation)

I have a number of things still to check off my list before I feel prepared to hit the race track confidently.

SeeThruHead 09-02-2022 01:59 PM

just hit it unconfidently.
Do some cool down laps.

my clutch stopped working and my oil temps got to 140c last track day.
But it was still seat time.

I get what you're saying but that ain't my style.

I'd rather have the check list complete and be ready for battle. I've never gone into a situation half-cocked and unprepared, like I said... it just ain't my style.

Seat time while being unprepared, is like you're about to have seggs with a hottie and you pull out a candy wrapper as a condom. :bowrofl:

Hasn't updated his vocabulary skills either. :bowrofl:

On a serious note, I hope this kid doesn't kill himself with more power than he can handle.

Let me know when you're ready for 500+whp reliably

after this decision, the way to the hell has started. I am getting 1000cc and 450 fuel from FI also, CJM fuel return and fuel rail. gonna let my machinc put on and let dynosity tune it after like may be 0.7 year

the most problem for me is what boost controller should I use?
Do I have to run a boost controller or our ECU can just handle it?
FI reconmand Turbosmart Eboost2

Personally I’m not a big fan of the Eboost 2. You can actually have an open port on the ECUTek control boost completely. I prefer that because you can ramp in the boost (which also ramps in the torque) so you have a smoother power delivery AND don’t pop the engine via torque. You can also do additional tuning for a traction control map via ECUTek if you so desire.

So, the goal is 200mph with a Fast Intentions kit? What are the specs of the build? I don't really see anything in this thread pointing me to think it's going to happen. I'm working on a similar goal but I pretty much had to upgrade everything about the car, including the engine. I'm aiming for 1,100rwhp or so reliable.
