Another vacuum port. A2a Supercharger and Defi Boost Gauge
Where is the boost pressure source in the a2a supercharger? I'd like to reconnect the boost gauge.
I connected the boost gauge with a T fitting to a 1/4" vacuum hose connected between the barb and the tial bov in front of the stillen manifold. The bov vacuum hose was changed to 1/4" and the flutter noise was better than before. But Tial reaction speed seems to be slow. The bov is open well when idle. Compressed air also comes out well. But I think the closing speed is kind of slow. A little flutter. Is it better to connect the tial bov vacuum hose directly to the manifold? I want to press the boost gauge somewhere else. Where can I do it? Do I need to connect the boost gauge to the barb between the two throttle bodies? Alternatively, can the T fitting be connected to the brake booster line? |
The way mine is setup is the barb in the front of the manifold goes directly to the bypass valve, as recommended by tial this shouldn't be shared with anything else. I use that port in-between the throttle bodies to go to a vacuum distribution block which gives a source for my.boost gauge sensor, Hobbs switch and fuel pressure regulator.
