Thanks for all the great information. I am road racing my Z so safe guarding the motor from catastrophic failure or events is crucial. I had the factory ABS system swap out with a BMW MK60 setup with a Motorsports controller. Will Motec be able to manage it with the traction control features?

If you remove the factory ABS system you lose the wheel speed inputs as they are acquired over CAN from that unit. You can get them back in over CAN if the motorsports controller sends wheel speeds as 16 bit values. Or you can share the wheel speed sensors with the M1 ECU directly (in the digital inputs). THe TC needs at least 1 front and 1 rear wheel speed sensor to function.

Copy that, I know they did add wheel/speed sensors front and back so that is a good thing!

Vit, can your Motec package be tuned hybrid using the MAF sensors and a Map sensor for better driveability? I don't want a full speed density tune.

No, the M1 uses a Volumetric Efficiency model and there's no drivability benefits from running the factory MAF sensors that could justify having to tune two fuel models.

I am on Ecutek full speed density and it sucks. When the weather changes I get driveablitly issues. I just wanted to be sure.

I suspected that's the metric you were basing your question around. However you cannot compare the two systems. I moved from the west coast, low humidity, sea level -> east coast, 1k elevation and high humidity. I did not retune the car.

I've reverted my car back to the stock ecu since no one wants to buy it as is -- the difference in idle quality alone is wild (it's not great w/ the mafs and ecutek tune).

How does that work?
What is changing in the ECU to compensate for changes in altitude and humidity?
Is it the closed loop lambda function?

Is your kit up for sale? I would be interested. Got your response that that kit is a development kit.

Did you ever get the development work done for the Sport and Nismo model manuals for Syncro Rev Match to work?

You have to buy it from your tuner or risk not having a tuner. LOL
