Went with Ghostvette's suggestion, took the manifold into a darkened room, shone a light into the driver side flange, and looked for outgoing photons. The exhaust leak (surprise surprise) is

The exhaust leak (surprise surprise) is coming from the flex pipe portion of the manifold.
