Isayimandrew's Twin Turbo Build

Anyone have any experience with CNC Innovation? This seems like a nice intake manifold to replace the stock plastic one.. https://www.cncinnovationsmy.com/pro...ntake-manifold

Looks gorgeous, but I don’t see any testing results. I wonder if they have made/sold any, looks like TB locations might be different from stock. Definitely interested to learn more about it.

If you needed 12 injectors and had a Standalone to run them with the engine holding together that's what you would need.

Looks like you're right. The TB locations are slightly different so not really something I would entertain. I originally thought it was a direct stock replacement.

It’s just paper weight unless you plan on trying to make 1200+whp. It’s cheap just to replace the plastic if it starts leaking. I’ve found cheap as $50

Gotcha. Looks like I'll be going with that approach since there isn't really too many options without either sacrificing quality or performance. I was revisiting this since I was going to do some mods that required a re-tune so I figured I might as well check and see if there are any cool looking options that would also help with reliability.

If you are under 19psi of boost you don't need it. Go to 20psi or above and you will.

That is what I am worried about. I am right at 20psi. I am going back to get the CJM MAP sensor adapter and going with a 5 bar MAP sensor since I've gone through 3 OMNI 4 bar MAP sensors in a year and a half and the shop that I am using that mainly works on GT-Rs stopped using OMNI on all the builds he does now because of that issue. Since I am re-tuning, I figured I might as well go full 3" downpipes and exhaust which should lower the boost required to make the same power I am running now. Talked to Tony from Fast Intentions and he was thinking I would be able to reduce the psi to 18 or 19 so that might solve my problems?

3in downpipes and exhaust will help. I doubt it drops any boost pressure. I have the CJ Motorsport Motec 5 Bar map sensor on my car. It's worth it. At 20psi it will last a while depending on what boost level you drive it around on everyday.

I just looked at your Fast Intentions TT kit and turbo size. You have the old stage 2 or new stage 1. You are good for about 796whp at 21psi of boost. If you try to push the boost over that you won't make proper power. Your efficiency disappears. You should at least put on 25whp for every psi of boost. If not, then you have an issue that needs to be addressed.

Thanks for the reassurance on my build! Even with the re-tune, we are still going to keep it at the same power level so I'll be well within the limits of my build. Sounds like my manifold should hold up for a while but hoping I find a long term solution if it does eventually start cracking.

Is the AAM manifold good now? Saw a lot of quality issues but those were all dated a while back. Didn't know if it was still an issue or if that has been resolved.
