It’s like a cult around here.

When I was stationed in Charleston, there was a cars and coffee on Saturday mornings in the "nice" part of town where the ragged out cars mostly stayed away from, so it was always a really great meet. It also helped that the shadier car meet was late the night before haha.
I feel like I'm too far away from the metroplex now to get to the "nice" car meets and my work schedule only supports sporadic at best attendance :(. I'm biased towards morning meets. Being down in the boonies does allow for "safer" road tuning with less potential interruptions though haha |
I’m in Northlake, TX. Not far from y’all. ‘16 Pearl white NISMO. Still has exhaust (full FI for that matter), not salvage title, Admin won’t touch my car with a 30ft pole, and only 45k miles.

If you want that noise gone on the Ace kit, then add that K&N pancake filter (RX-4130-1) on there and it will be next to gone also, at the expense of some power and needing to remove and reinstall the kit for install and cleaning. This noise was a non issue on my Gen 1 kits because I sent every kit with that K&N filter and everyone used it and everyone was very happy. Up until 600whp became the new norm and everyone wanted to run just a turboguard to get there :eekdance: |

The BOV sound he is referring to is the straight "Afterburner" dump. |

This has nothing to do with Topgunz Supercharger kit but I put some new wheels on today.
Also, looking for opinions on HKS Hipower exhaust system. This Greddy is too loud and drones excessively at 3k rpm. Gotta go. |

Did you ever get this on a Dyno?

Few updates since my last post. I finally had enough of the Greddy Dual exhaust with the drone at 3K RPM and the exhaust frequency rattling interior panels. I found a good deal on a HKS Hi Power kit online and pulled the trigger. Car is much more enjoyable to drive around now. Still sounds pretty great in my opinion when engaged in spirited driving and normal cruising around I can hear the radio.
Another update is the addition of a Tial Wastegate on the charge pipe. This was recommended by Eugene since I have been having issues with the BOV releasing boost on a pull. Was getting boost spike and the safety features Eugene built into the tune was intervening and cutting power. After multiple tweaks on my car, and other Rotrex cars Eugene is tuning, he determined this would be a good addition. I installed it over the weekend and I'm waiting on a tune revision to get it all dialed in. I have the Black/Red springs in the wastegate for 14.5psi setting. Other than that car is running good. No issues from the Topgunz kit and I'm averaging E-80 at the pump. Once this wastegate gets dialed in I'll take car up to the dyno near my house and see what I got... |

BOV relocation looks good! I'm looking into this on my rotrex kit now as been having some overheating problems on track. Also going to play around with some ducting direct to the radiator

I'm only running around 11 psi and 500hp. I think it's mainly the lack of airflow and bov exhaust causing heat issues
|
Where is the BOV located at on this kit? It may be beneficial to route the BOV back into the intake similar to how SOHO did with the recirculating kit they just released.

To date I have not had any overheating issues with my car but it is not a track car, just street driving. |
