Super Charger Install - tips and what you wished you knew beforehand
 

I'm ordering a SC soon and a friend of mine and I are going to attempt the install ourtselves. Doesn't seem TOO bad, but I thought I'd ask here, what are something you guys who do have forced induction wish you knew beforehand, or wish you did while you had everything taken apart?

Things to do, not to do, to clean, to change etc etc.

This depends on the kit to a point. I might have some advice on kits and install tips on a specific few..lol.

Did you ever install a kit? I have been holding my thumb back from hitting order on topgunz kit daily. I'm somewhat mechanical and somewhat impatient so I am in the air on whether I would be able to install this myself or try to rush through it and destroy my car. I also have never got into a motor like this so the whole thing would be trial by error which is not the method most use. I love the idea of the thread but it didn't pick up traction.

Do you guys follow "The Carizon" on YT? He did an incredibly detailed install video on the ACE kit. He will be getting the Rotrex here soon and will do the same. However, I am trying to work off the backlog of guys that I owe kits to prior to sending him one. I am hoping to have one in his hands soon though.

Feedback from a couple of guys said the supercharger intake pipe was the worst part. Meaning, its like installing 3" cold air intakes. Except you need to go another 1/4" in each direction.

Also, There are several guys here that have ordered the kit and will be able to assist you.

Not having that awful Stillen intake manifold must make it a lot easier
