Hello everyone,
We just wanted to share the build process for a the370Z.com forum OG, Lou Fusz. Lou's car will be the second Twin Turbo Kit we've installed in house at AAM. I'll try to keep the thread updated as much as possible as the build progresses. PROJECT COMPLETE! Lou! Stop selling cars and get in here!
|
Just out of curiosity, how much is this going to cost in total? (I may be in the market soon if all goes well). :happydance:

sorry, but how is it different from the first TT? probably more rwhp at the end, but does it have bigger turbos? also, JON@AAM mentioned about traction issue with the first setup even at the third gear - how is this remedied? very impressed..........overall...... just might persuade myself to take a risk and a TT myself....... i guess all depends on the final price of the TT setup.... |
Wow!
|
I was fortunate to take the tour at AAM when I was getting my exhaust, HFCs and sways installed and see both the first and second TT cars. Great work being done at Altered and I'm sure just the first of many more to come!
|
Lou, you gotta promise that your not gonna be spending all of your time in your TTZ when you get it back and you are going to take the time to give us some honest reviews as time goes on!
I'm pumped for you man..I'm ready for some sound clips and some #'s... I have to admit Lou.. I've seen at least 3 times in these threads a question about total cost after its all said and done...I haven't seen any exact answers (have seen random numbers thrown out there, but not actual)... you got anything for us Lou? AAM? |
I will be putting on some sticky icky 305's in the rear, hoping that will help with traction.
The real difference between the two builds are the gauges and the EVC. Should be able to produce more RWHP, with the proper gas. Cost Depends on the options. What are you looking for, or are you just wanting a guage on what my install cost? |
Wow I really like the gauges
|
love the placment of the boost controller

Cool, good luck with the build up. |
Guess the engine in the first pic= R35 GTR engine (VR38).
TT install looks good. Any plans for wheels or suspension mods? |

u betcha hr and vhr have a solid ish one were the runners merge at the top the gtr as u can see has individual runner stalks that bold to the upper manifold besides VG's have a single timing belt not a chain it's not so much a lower intake amnifold tho as it is cast into the head the exhaust cam sprocket is also gtr specific
|
If you go look in the old thread, it shows heat shields. The shields will go between the turbos and the headers.

As far as footworks goes, that's up to Lou. I would recommend KW V3s with a set of RE30 or Advan F7. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4037/...bb921ebc13.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3614/...8f8fa861f4.jpg Quote:

This is new version of our 2.5" exhaust made just for Lou's car looks so good, I think this is going to replace the current 370Z 2.5" Exhaust we make! Hopefully, we'll be able to fire her up today! I promise once she breathes life again, I'll have a video for everyone! -jon |
