Guess the engine in the first pic= R35 GTR engine (VR38).

TT install looks good. Any plans for wheels or suspension mods?

It looks NOTHING like a VG the head is totally diferent so i'm just gonna throw out some "no" right now

Edit: oh and it is a R35 motor for certain the lower intake manifold is the giveaway

Where is the lower intake manifold in this picture? Are you looking through the hole on the left?

That's a tight fit, looks good, but are you putting a heat shield between the Waste gate actuator and the exhaust manifold? The membrane in the actuator is (normally) not very heat resistant.

1slow370 01-24-2010 02:28 PM

u betcha hr and vhr have a solid ish one were the runners merge at the top the gtr as u can see has individual runner stalks that bold to the upper manifold besides VG's have a single timing belt not a chain it's not so much a lower intake amnifold tho as it is cast into the head the exhaust cam sprocket is also gtr specific

FuszNissan 01-24-2010 02:38 PM

If you go look in the old thread, it shows heat shields. The shields will go between the turbos and the headers.

Here ya go
