Chit isn't cheap. Mess up and blow a motor the cost goes up considerably.

When I did the FI TT kit seven years ago, it cost me $17k with all associated mods! Double that and then add in the cost of the kit and you will be in the park to make 800 whp! Ask me how I know!!!

They are talking about the Jorge Uniqemotorsports bubble gum welded up turbo car Dirtbag. It's a piece of chit low compression 8.5 to 9:1 engine extra large turbo (Who knows who made it GT4508) with no low end or midrange at all. The drivability is horrible. Dyno was done on a hub dyno which reads at least 50hp higher than a dynojet. That's the clout seekers region.

You are forgetting about some of the stuff you have and that is needed for such like wheels and tires, Diff upgrade, Diff mount upgrades, motor mount upgrades, suspension upgrades, etc. LOL Remember, I started adding mine up and stopped. It was a holey chit moment. Never will I do that again.

What are you talking about?

You don't need any of that. It helps but not required

If you don't have it the car will want to kill you. So that is necessary in my book.

Give 500-600HP a try before going crazy. The weakest point sometime is how you drive and maintain the Z. Hell you have non-force induction Z's that blow up sometimes. I'm sitting at 520 and it's a blast to drive.

Don't talk about it, I have as much money in drive train and suspension than some have into their turbo build, but that is how we roll. My car is purposed built and way over the top!

I have more in my motor than most have in their entire TT upgrade. LOL We roll alike, over the top. I don't know how to half arse anything. Since I had to do it twice, I have 2 times as much. SOB!!!!!!

This all day long!!!! It took five years and numerous track days before my stock motor gave up the ghost. I was religious about maintenance and only tracked her at 500 to 525 whp. A good tune, regular maintenance and controlled beating on the motor and you will get years of enjoyment.

That's why I am keeping mine at just under 500. Plenty of power.

Ok.......I'm going to throw my 2 cent in. You don't need a blueprinted motor. Just install the FI Stage 4 set up with the required fuel and fuel mods on a stock block. Guarantee it will make a 1000HP with a good tune. I dealt it will survive the dyno session tho.

I think hotrodz and spooler mention a very good point, which is supportive mods.

When i was done doing the turbo and engine mods, the platform felt out of balance. Its one thing to do a 100-200kph pull on the highway, but another thing to use its full potential of all the new horsies on a canyon road.

So.. i needed to upgrade the suspension, swaybars, camber arms, diff, diff brace, engine and trans mounts, brakes, cooling, etc. Which adds another god knows 10k or so. But its very rewarding when you testdrive a Porsche 997 GT3 and think.. nope.. keeping the Z
