Agreed. Is what it is though. They also offered a discount. I was like, is it a $935 discount so I can buy a new hood?

Cut the fvck out of it. Apparently using a sledge on it wasn't enough. I asked THM if I could set it on fire instead and they freaked out and called me immediately

Been a minute since I updated this. I haven't done anything with the Z as I'm still on the lookout for a donor. But I did find a new DD in the meantime. 2019 Golf R. So far I've done a stage 1 tune, intake, turbo inlet, and turbo muffler delete. It's a stupid amount of fun for a family hatch.

I'm stuck between 2 delivery companies blaming each other for me not having my replacement hood so I sicced Z1 on them.

In the meantime I'm stage II with the Golf R. DSG tune, downpipe, etc.
