So I've been looking at the safest way possible to produce good power and still have a reliable car that will last. As far as I know, when going FI, if something goes wrong the ECU does not have the capability of pulling enough timing to safe an engine in time.
I came across this, it will not only monitor for knock but it will inform you on which cylinder its happening and then perform individual timing correction on it the next time it fires. J&S Electronics • Tech Articles Has this been used on a 370Z before? Price is $585 for the interceptor unit which is the one that would be compatible with our cars. Thoughts? |
