Boost Solenoid Setup
Hey all, I'm sure some of you are running boost solenoids to control boost levels. How did you set yours up? Pics are welcome. (No **** pics please, I get enough from JAR. If you must, inbox me only tasteful nudes with pictures of the Z in the background)

https://www.perrin.com/blog/post/boo...plained-part-2 This did a pretty good job of explaining the mechanics of this kind of systems to a complete n00b like me. |
Are you wanting to use Ecuteck to control it or a boost controller? Get with your tuner to see how he wants you to set it up if you use Ecuteck.

3 port boost solenoid. Doesn’t change with one or two turbos. Run a boost pressure source to port 1 on the solenoid, vent port 3, port 2 to the top of the wastegate or wastegates. Boost source to the bottom of the gates. If your running 2 gates use tees to join the hoses, use brass tees or similar not plastic. Heat wrap the hoses
