That is a real good deal considering what needs to be taken care of. If the right person bought it for that price it would save them a ton of money. One would need to go through the motor right off the bat to prevent any block damage.

That's a great deal at $25,000.

Yeap, but you have to go through the motor again.

Its a great buy for someone who was about to pull the trigger on a build anyway. You end up with nearly all the parts you need and more for not even 10g after selling off a mostly stock 370z.

Yeap, JCHammond needs to buy this and forget about the LS swap. This car is setup for 1/4 mile and that is what Joby does.

Honestly its not really setup for anything specific, the sky is the limit. While he set the 1/4 mile record with it, he didnt really configure it for drag racing (aside from temporarily installing small rear brakes and drag tires). Its got a powerful engine build to an otherwise largely stock car, plus a 5-pt cage. I know he listed it as a 6-point but its actually a 5, it does not have the passenger side door bar.

If you saw my bill it wouldn't be and I am missing several nice parts that he has that cost major money and fab time. This would give someone a heck of a head start in the money department. I would have bought this in a heartbeat if it was for sale before I started my build.

Intake cost: 3k
Intercooler: 2K
Fab work: 3k to 4k to be able to install the intake properly.

This would be on top of what I have already spent. With the right motor mods you could make it a reliable 900 to 950hp at the wheel car. Nobody has made 1000hp+ at the wheel reliable at this time. Someone will eventually when everything is figured out.

It doesn't matter, there is more to it than that.

We used cosworth headgaskets and made exceptional efforts to keep them sealed, effort beyond what anyone else will do nor should need to. As spooler said, there is something else that needs to be sorted out with the VQ that has eluded us so far.

At any rate, the car is sold

I knew it wouldn't last long at all. His car had a ton of value. I gave it hrs, not days.
