GT Motorsports: 370Z Stock block testing, and turbo system development
Well our 370Z test car finally arrived, it is not easy getting one
of these right now since they are still so fresh. We are currently testing the stock engine with our GTM VHR Test pipes, and are also developing a 370Z Catback exhaust system. Dyno results will be posted for both once testing is completed. Looks like we are going to build the first twin turbo 370Z, which should be completed within the next 30 days. At which point we will be taking orders for our GTM 370Z Twin Turbo system. We are very impressed with the power this car puts out in N/A form, nearly 290rwhp! With test pipes and exhaust we should be over 300rwhp. This model Z is lighter and feels much tighter than the 350Z. This platform is going to be the ticket for road racers, especially with the available Syncro Rev-match on the sport models! Enjoy the pics and graph, more updates of the progress to follow. -George GT Motorsports GTM test pipe results: Last edited by George@GTM; 01-14-2009 at 08:53 PM. |

This is probably the first official Dyno results in the United states, correct? Thank you guys for taking your time to do this.
Nearly 290 RWHP? that's great. I can't wait to see what you guys have planned for this car. Great pictures too.

FANTASTIC! Dyno results that are WAY better than I'd expected. I was thinking it was going to be close to 275. So if the numbers are right, and the engine is putting 332HP out at the crank, we're only loosing 13.7% of the power through the drive train and the wheels. That's freaking incredible.

This is a great platform, more power, less weight, and it feels so connected and solid.
Makes me want to go out and get one, but I will have to settle for my G -George GT Motorsports |

Nice solid gain with factory exhaust..... you think we can get a video of the exhaust sound with pipes. In the meantime your personal opinion will work..

Our stage 1 kit will deliver very fast spool time and will easily achieve over 400rwhp. Maybe you can be the first Twin Turbo 370Z in Canada? -George GT Motorsports |
