P.S. What were the sparks flying out the back?

I think the next thing you guys need to do is weigh the exhaust. Its not going to be titanium like the Japan brands, but at the same time, it won't cost $4500 bucks.

A little cat substrate material

Power gains are very cool too, but I wish you hadn't added 2 deg of timing to get real results of the catback alone... Looks great, sounds great. If the price is right, I don't see why not.

Here is a dyno graph of one run with the added 2 degrees and one without, as you can see the gains from the timing advance were minimal.

MSRP for this exhaust will be around $1,495.00, in polished stainless steel, with Titanium tips being optional for an additional cost.

Interesting. I assume that you're making a 3" cat-back for the turbo kit?

LiquidZ 01-26-2009 09:00 PM

Any updates on the turbo kit?

George@GTM 01-27-2009 01:55 AM

Currently we are working on the 3" Turbo back exhaust, and then the twin turbo system.

Fan-freaking-tastic! I'll have to add that to my list of stuff for you to do when you turbo my car. I assume you'll be tuning it for that, right?

Cown3d 01-28-2009 03:13 PM

it will be interesting to see a graph of the 3" on the NA app as opposed to the 2.5"
i wonder if youll lose much low end?

Crash 01-28-2009 04:29 PM

Without tuning, you'll likely lose enough to feel it.

+1 I want to see how it handles a 3" pipe.

question for the cali people. i just moved to the bay area. so what are we supposed to do when we mod out here?? do you guys try to find a crooked smog facility?? what are our options???

TerribleONE 02-02-2009 12:31 AM

well since its a brand new car you wont have to smog for quite some time... but usually finding that is the best way ^
