question for the cali people. i just moved to the bay area. so what are we supposed to do when we mod out here?? do you guys try to find a crooked smog facility?? what are our options???

well since its a brand new car you wont have to smog for quite some time... but usually finding that is the best way ^

Is it 4 years before the new cars need to be smogged? Anyone find this out yet?

There's plenty of places that will "Smog" your car in Cali. Go to ANY shop that will do the turbo work or whatever else for you and ask them how you can "smog" your car. :)

No issues, we just have around 30 cars in the shop being worked on :)

Anyhow, kit is basically complete, once we have time to tune the car we will post pictures, dynos, videos, etc.

Will the TT kit come with turbo back exhaust?

I'm trying to decide if I should buy an exhaust now or just wait.

no, but you'll want a bigger exaust then a n/a exaust. Thats why i havnt bought one yet... once i go turbo ill probably just do a Y pipe going 4in-4 1/2 out the back with one APEX-I muffler

We will have a turbo exhaust available, although not included with the price of the kit.

Will the 3'' system only be for the turbo that you guys are working on or will it also be available for non FI? Will the 3'' system hurt the torque output on the VQ if I dont decide to go FI?

Hey Dave,

There is no need for a 3" system on an N/A car, unless you just want the car to be really loud. 2.5" is more than enough flow for the type of power an N/A engine will ever produce.

The VVEL engines respond very well to reduce back pressure, so I wouldn't be worried about the torque loss.
