Which is probably a good thing. I’d much rather have that than he take my money and keep me on hold with the goods.

Ya I know some people look at it that way, I don't have a problem with just putting money down and waiting. It gives me a piece mind knowing that I am paid in full and in line for a kit but to each their own.

Great Job Aaron!
Likes the new design much more.

But, why didn't you go OEM all the way? I mean, why won't you use a oem fit intercooler like in AAM TT kit or GTM SC.

Attached example.

I think it would be a good option for people that are not chasing the numbers
Maybe if the kit had 2 options

Here in the UK the roads are so tight and twisty 550 crank is more than you need it's more about driveable power than straight line power

In some countries it is illegal to run without the front crush bar.
So that may limit the sales of this kit.

Also, OEM look is sleeper

Do you have a picture that is from an actual 370Z?

I am assuming to keep a sleeper look you are saying you wouldnt want the intercooler visual. Well, that would make for one terribly inefficient intercooler setup. The only way to hide it is to block it off from air flow.

This is a aam car here in uk making over 500
And the other is the twin charged rev you car making 700 https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e0d5b01a1d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d6133d4fc6.jpg

There is always pros and cons.
But for me (Israel) it is a break dealer for purchasing this kit.
Outside of the USA there are many countries that have regulation regarding vehicle stracture changes. Israel is one of them.
Me and also many other Z owners will surely appreciate if you release a kit with intercooler that does not require to remove the front crush bar.

Also, not everybody are all about huge power. For me 500whp on 95+ron will be quite satisfying.

Many of us running Aaron's first kit use the Fast Intentions crash bar in lieu of the factory one. https://www.fastintentions.com/produ...roducts_id/177 I guess I don't really know if this will fit w/ the newer, larger intercooler, but it may be an option.

takemorepills 11-20-2019 10:37 PM

The AAM setup is dual inlet, dual outlet, the ACE setup is single inlet, dual outlet, so you can't use the exact same IC as the AAM kit.

Interesting that there'd be a country or region that'd allow significant engine mods but be picky about your crash bar, as the crash bar doesn't affect the survivability of the occupants, just helps to reduce damage in a minor crash.

I believe you can just trim the back of the OEM bar to clear the previous kit?

Will that be the same clearance with this new kit? I would like to keep my OEM bar for the foam impact absorber, even if I have to trim the OEM bar a bit.

can anyone else confirm that this is the case? It's been on my mind in considering this kit.
