I finally managed to find a fabricator (after several well known/famous shops said it would be too difficult lol) willing to make me an intake so the car goes in on Friday to get that done.
Keep us updated on this

The adjustable tensioner pulley between the sc pulley and the jackshaft pulley

What is the advantage of running the 3.47 jackshaft pulley (sc side) and 3.0 SC pulley?

Disadvantage is if you're running the V3 blower you'll be spinning it so fast (over 62000 rpm) that you'll destroy the oil slinger

Yeah but I'm only running 1050 injectors so I won't be spinning as fast as you

I ended up having to go with 1300's and twin fuel pumps

Hey everyone. Noticed some oil coming out of the BOV. Pulled the charge pipe off and there is a good amount of oil around the coupler from the outlet on the S.C. connecting to the charge pipe. My oil level is still fine and the blower has been running for around 6000 miles and the oil has been changed twice.

Did my seal go bad? I'm also not running the 9si pulley on the front, I'm running the 8psi.

Is it redish/pink fluid? Mine does the same but its never really been a problem, I just change the fluid out more regularly to make sure it stays topped off, measuring the fluid coming out to have an idea of how much was lost. I figure worst case scenario rebuilding the supercharger is pretty cheap and simple so I just blissfully ignore it.

It's black. Only started I would say about 1 week ago. Just in time for boost season to tear it down

All, how simple is tearing apart the Vortech to inspect/ replace seals? Or am I better off sending to Vortech?

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the repair and inspection will be quick. Vortech advertises two weeks or more, but my major rebuild was done in five days. The bad news is that it can be expensive. Mine was leaking fluid and then mistakenly contained too much fluid, causing the seals to give and essentially cooking the blower.

So some updates on that intake: Unfortunately it didn't really work out, while the fabricator did about as good of a job as one could do with that hilariously limited space and offset there just wasn't enough airflow, car maxed out at 9psi (for comparison I did 15psi with that K&N filter and a little over 17psi with a turboguard). Because it was hand made it was shaped similar to a box which is going to be pretty rough on the airflow since it would have to make a couple 90 degree turns. I'm assuming it could probably work if a similar piece was cnc machined or used some high temp 3d printed plastic to create smooth angles instead but I have no way of doing that.

I have not given up however, I have a couple other ideas I plan on trying out later this week/next week instead.

I appreciate the feedback.

I was able to do the rebuild myself after seeing the prices of a rebuild lol. Wasn't too bad, a hydraulic press worked wonders. Replaced both seals and an input and output bearing that I had to remove with a pulley extractor that probably loaded up the bearings from the removal. Now she's ripping again!

All part of the game I guess
