What's the price difference between a conversion kit vs a whole new one?

Tuner kit is $6250 shipped. Depending on your current setup though you will need additional mods to meet the power of the tuner kit. The tuner kit comes with the upgraded Si head unit, with upgraded pulley setup and belt. |

I strongly recommend to open a total new post with all kits, prices and comparisons, so anyone could read directly whiteout all the previous threats of this post. Topgunz next step: 7AT transmission upgrade Enviado desde mi VOG-L29 mediante Tapatalk |
I have completely stopped producing the Gen 1 kit. I dont see the reason too. Who would want to deal with the headaches it brings, smaller intercooler, gawdy engine bay and less performance?
There should be several used Gen 1 kits going up for sale soon though. ;) |

He was. Right now he has the TurboGuard/FilterWears setup. It can be removed for cleaning as often as necessary and filters out anything that could damage your engine. The problem the way other shops are doing it is that they are using a 3.5" turboguard that goes directly onto the supercharger. That is great if you want to only filter 1/2" rocks from entering the engine. Sand will suck in like a dyson. By placing a sand/dust guard like a filterwears on the 3.5" turboguard it restricts the blower to about 10psi.
My new design places a 6" turboguard over a velocity stack which allows a 6.5" filterwears to be used, creating twice the surface area of intake air. KN intake makes roughly 12 psi. This makes 14 psi. The funny thing is that he had intentions all along to run E85 and we were going to grab those numbers but he said the car is so fast now that he doesnt think he even wants anymore power...Lol. He does/will track the car so he wants to see how/if he can handle the power. I told him he will be back for more..they always are..Lol. http://www.the370z.com/members/topgu...-guard-pre.jpg |
Oh man! This virus needs to go away already so I can go back to work! I need this! Going from your gen 1 to the gen 2! Now eventually I was planning on upgrading to a YSi how do you think that will perform? Will it be a direct bolt to the current set up or I need to modify the bracket to run the YSi

And since this is Topgunz's post and we should stay on topic as much as possible. The Jt or Jt-b will work great with his version 2 system.
