I wish you would make this version as a conversation kit.

I dunno - there's already 200+ posts of conversation about it.

I live in Cook County, IL (Chicago). I have to do OBDII emissions testing this year and would like to run a flex fuel system with the new ACE Supercharger. Does anyone know whether using a flex fuel system disables or triggers sensors that affect whether codes are thrown or sensors read unsupported?

Generally yes, but I also have a software based solution that leaves all emissions equipment 100% functional by computing ethanol content from exhaust gas content using built in sensors. It’s not perfect due to some limitations within ecutek, but it does get the job done very well and works great for people concerned with passing emissions checks both digital and visual.

Eugene, don't you have to cut the evap wire in order to tie in the flex fuel sensor? That would show evap system not ready. The good thing is, most smog shops won't fail you for that.

Yes this is correct, which is why I brought up my 100% software solution, no wires get cut and all Evap functions remain at 100%.

That's interesting. Fortunately, my smog guy said he doesn't care about the evap system. ;)

Think that might depend on the state.

This kit is being offered as a conversion kit. I have sold two of them already.

I have shipped components to 6 different customers. I do have a backlog of interested parties who had contacted me while the kit was in development. Right now the biggest hold up is piping. I have a bunch being fabricated currently. I will start another batch as soon as these are done.

Expect easier/quicker payment and shipping in April.

Aaron, are you providing a ROM to get us to a shop? Planning on installing everything at the house then taking it to the tuner.

Yes sir. There is a tuner kit, turn key with base tune (get to shop) or turn key custom (comes with a custom remote tune package with a licensed Pro Ecutek tuner).

The turn key options come with ID1050x injectors, Aeromotive 340lph pump, pump install kit, pump voltage stabilizer kit, Ecutek software, dongle, desk key, license and 4 bar MAP sensor.

The intake needs one screw to be fully removed so no need to take out the supercharger at all if you choose to run a turbo guard. The kit will have a ton of options. One is choosing to just run a turbo guard since everyone on Facebook feels the gains outweigh the risk. This will be a cheaper option as turbo guards are only $70.

Other options to be released soon.

Aaron, how are the pieces of the intake being held together with one screw?
