I think Z Nationals is this weekend. I will be doing this instead. I have been wanting to for a while.

Only 1 other Z in Florida that would easily beat that 164.7, but he is scared to run his car

One month and 2 weeks until go time. I am ready to go see what she will do. I am praying for good weather.

A buddy of mine took his 750whp single turbo Supra to a half mile event out here in California and went 164mph. I'll bet your car does real well. Hopefully I'll get mine to the one out here this year.

We shall see. I don't want to guess a time, I might jinx myself.

You can't say it can if he doesn't try and does it. You get no credit for a dyno queen if you actually take it to the track.:gtfo2:

It is not about the whp, it is whether you can get the power to the ground and driver mod. If whp was the deal then we should see a bunch of Z running in the 9s for the quarter mile! Does he have the power to do 170 yes, but getting it done is a totally different thing. **** I get my *** handed to me by NA Zs at the track...why driver mod!!!

I can appreciate that too. I have no beef with him not running his car for whatever reason and I know his car is bad ***. I just don't think you can claim his car can do it simply based on whp. There are lot of factors that go into running a car at the speeds that are needed to push to 180 and then beyond that it get logarithmic.

I'll be happy to hit 165, I'ma lose my mind if I go past that. In all honesty I'll be good if we just go out there and represent where we've all come with the platform. Alot of the folks that show up have a distinct impression this platform consists of Tomei Flamebois. There are alot of us who put some effort into this.
Since the Hurricane snacks are gone I can probably pick up the new race trailer, drop it off at storage and then finally replace the couplers. Maybe next week hit the dyno again.
After that all I need to do is install the winch in the trailer get in some good Area 51 launches, stockpile some E85 and wait.

I want 180mph. I probably won't get it but what the heck. Gotta set your goals high in life.

Ugg, Seb from Specialty Z is going to shift sector the weekend after this event. This puts the pressure on for sure.
