????? Jon didn't want to release it. Read his post on Z1_tuner via Instagram.

I saw a 3rd gear pull on Instagram of this car. It sure seems kinda slow for the 780hp setting. 3rd gear for me at 718hp you better hold the fuxx on.

The engine is amazing its live the last three years at 550 or more torque. About 12 track days and three z days trips plus local racing here. So it did all that before going to 831. But I do understand it could blow it anytime. But let's have fun with it until then and not worry about when it blows. But engines are cheap and if it does I'll order one the same day.

I am going to say this just one time. You and Jon (@Z1motorsports) need to stop bragging about how much power your car makes on a stock block. Here and Instagram. I say this because some young man/woman with just enough funds is going to attempt to do what you have done on a stock block and it is going to go boom. They won't have the funds to fix it and it will put them in a major financial bind. I say this because in my younger years I did something similar and it wasn't good. I already see some of the responses on Instagram and that is what most of these folks think.

I agree with you in principle, but I also think you learn best from pain. Lessons don't stick unless they hurt.

At the end of the day people are going to do what they want to do regardless. This is not the first stock block HP that has been posted or bragged about. If not this car someone can easily look at another stock block record and think I can do that then end up learning quickly they can't.

If someone tries to replicate this without doing their homework chances are they are going to end up with something like this:

TRUE, I am 50 yrs old and I have been modding cars since I was 16 yrs old. If I could pass my knowledge to the younger generation it would be a good thing. Several guys on here have done the exact same thing as me. Rusty comes to mind. I just get tired of seeing this stuff posted. All I see is this "Look at me, I am an idiot".

Bahahah. He may try to beat the stock block 1/4 record

The worst part is Facebook and Instagram are feeding the "new" guys bologna sandwiches all day every day and for those who dont come to the forum are completely screwed.

The forum is the only place that has useful information with facts and help. FB and IG are a bunch of morons who chime in to either pretend they know something or to purposely ruffle feathers and thrive off drama. I absolutely hate it.

In their defense they did state it wasn’t safe to make this much power. But from a marketing standpoint it was brilliant. If in the end the user stupid enough to do something like this and blow their motor and consider a back up Incase things go wrong then can’t feel sorry to them. If they rather takes advise from Facebook and people who get hot boi tunes so be it. No matter how much you beat a dead horse to wake up it just won’t wake up, especially with these new generation of so called car enthusiasts
