I can't wait for this kit to come out and see what kind of numbers it will make. People on this forum may not be familiar with doc race but they are super popular with BMW N54 and N55 platforms and make serious power.

Can we also acknowledge the kit is 4500? I could see if the kit was 7k and up to be weary for a pre order. But doc racing is an established company with quality products. They have done great work on the bmw platform and have had excellent reviews on their bmw single turbo top mount kit. Which is very similar to this one. Not to mention you’re spending 4500 for basically plumbing and turbos and the stuff to install that. They really don’t have much to mess up on... all the fuel and tubing is up to us, which is how I would prefer it. I don’t want to buy a soho or a switchback or any kit because they come with stupid options. Why would I spend 4k extra to buy a soho kit that only comes with fueling. And not even that great of a fuel kit in my opinion.... I’d rather spend the 3k at cj motorsports and get the best fuel system available. And then with the money I saved from not buying the over priced kit I’ll buy another supporting mod etc. I think this doc racing kit is LONG overdue. There is no competition in the Z boosted game. Fast intentions has the twin turbo world on lock. And BP has the single turbo community on lock. Meaning they are arguably the best kits we can buy... I’m going to buy this doc kit. Make the same power as a BP kit but with better supporting mods than I could afford if I went BP route. I am not worried in the least bit about doc racing and their ability to deliver the kit. Do some research and you’ll see 3 week lead times are average for their kits. Let me say that again. 3 weeks. 21 days. An exhaust from fast intentions takes longer than that from order to door. And I’m a fast intentions fan by all means...

If I hadnt traded my 335i for the 370 I would of bought the doc kit without hesitation. You are right about the prices for these kits. I would think with the z being out for 10 years the prices would drop. Most of the supporting mods they sell you with the kit can be had for cheaper if you do your own research. The doc kit is priced very competitive and i hope it stays that way. As someone coming from the n54 community, I cant wait to see this kit on the 370 platform.
