A little update: Come to find out due to the ton of belt dust coming off the 928 pulley, the dust actually packed in and around the idler pulley bearing and seized it up. That's what ultimately shredded the belt. Good thing I have a couple of extra's laying around.

Thanks Aaron. That make's sense. I'm starting to lose confidence in 928 so that concerned me.

Wow this is the first for me to hear this of 928. I’ve been referred to 928 for upgrades especially for their Super-Vortech package. From what I’ve read on them they’ve been in the game for awhile. Has their products/Customer Service depreciated????

Evidently, I must have been getting belt slip from the Sur Grip pulley starting right after install (evidenced by the amount of belt dust). It made 14.8 psi when Seb tuned it right after the pulley install. I changed out that pulley to the Vortech smooth pulley and the Gates rpm belt and did a couple of logs for Seb. The good news is, I've got zero belt slip (no belt dust at all). It's now making over 16 psi. The bad news is, my injectors are now running at 115% duty cycle. Look's like I'll be upgrading to 1300cc injectors and CJM's twin pump set up.

Why not ID1700's? Same price as ID1300's.

It was discussed but there's a concern about rough idle with the larger injectors.

I run 2000's and idle is fine... this is an old notion. get the 1700's and have fun. ID1700 can idle like stock.

I've already got the 1300's. I asked Seb about going to 1700's because eventually I'll be going to V7 sc and wanted to make sure I wasn't going to have to upgrade injectors again and he said (if I remember correctly) that the 1300's are good for 850hp. I don't plan on exceeding 700.

My car goes in for ecu re-flash and re-tune next Wednesday.
