I said the same thing... was told it’s the final tune going on the car and they weren’t going to waste time just for glory numbers.

I had the same argument with my fabricator when I went from my Stillen exhaust to my FI exhaust. He had to custom fabricate the connection between FI’s mid-pipe and the turbo 3” DP (single turbo). He kept wanting to neck the 3” down to a single 2.5” pipe and then branch back out to mate to the mid-pipe. Took me awhile to explain to him that he was fabricating a restriction into the system. Finally got him to custom fabricate a 3”to2.5” Y, one 3” inlet and two 2.5” outlets. |
