Bobby flew out to California to train Eugene Turkov and to show others how easy this install is.

We know it at least comes with “Step 1” because there is a video for it.
“Take hammer to whipple. Beat on it till some parts pop off. Mail whatever comes off to Bobby. Wait for Bobby to do his thing and ship it back” I think this was why the term “Turn Key” always showed up in quotes when the kit was finally released. https://youtu.be/UuCCBlN0hvo Looks like “Step 2” from his videos is “Fly Bobby in to install kit”. Even though it was also stated that “It will be set for 500+whp out of the box. The goal is to maintain a 4 hour install time with hand tools in a garage with the car on the ground.” I’m guessing that should have been in quotes too. |

If the install is so easy, how come Bobby has to fly across the country to train people how to do it?

Wow a lot of hate from people who have never seen or touched the kit in person...
First of all Flying out to train someone is a good thing. Bobby is ensuring people know what they are doing and setting up a certified installer network. Installing the kit for customers was a bonus for those who pre-ordered... As far as taking time on the install that is on the individual installer. I have personally installed this kit more than a dozen times. You can and I repeat CAN install this kit in 4 hours with hand tools... This kit is extremely easy to install however, not everyone is mechanically inclined or qualified... Bobby and I are updating the install instructions and plan to have a very detailed set out for users to reference online.

Instead of criticizing the fact that bobby is flying out. maybe you should focus on the fact that he is helping people and showing good customer service and free labor!

Look, all it's going to take to turn this around is good results. R&D often takes so much longer than originally expected that it seems like it'll never be done. I just think RJM was a little early on their announcements for the kit. There's always a bunch of setbacks on new ideas, so maybe it would be better if everything was kept a little quieter until the end was in sight.
