Vortech V3 max boost questions

Does anyone know why on the Vortech it states the V3 can max at 21psi spinning at max 52K rpm.

But when I use the calculator on the Vortech site and input the 370z information running 2.8 stillen (9lb pulley)

Jack 5.75 , 7500rpm. It shows 55K rpm already which is over Vortechs spec of max 52K rpm and only making 9-10psi.

Why do they state the V3 can make 21psi when the rpm max is 52K doesn't make any sense?

Boost is a measure of restriction. V-3 has different specs, and consequently different rated CFMs. As a result, boost will vary according to the CFM of a supercharger and volumetric efficiency of a car. Hopefully it answers your question.

Yup. Put it on a 2.0l that doesn't breath much with a restrictive intake plenum, small headers and a tight exhaust.. You will see a lot higher restriction (boost) in the manifold.
