BUILD EVOLUTION.....IPP Stage 2.

Some know , some dont.. Earlier this year I ordered a Stage 2 IPP longblock. The build consists of the full ARP treatment, C2 cams and 10:1 compression pistons. The motor was delivered in at the end of June after a delay waiting for Cosworth head gaskets, which never came. While waiting to begin the install I ordered the CJM S1SE with and replaced the single 340 pump with the CJM twin pump setup using two 340s. I also replaced the 750 Deatchworks injectors with ID 1300s.
The plan at the time was to move forward with the 6466 1.32ar I had mounted. The new motor has been transplanted into the car and Uprev was traded for Ecutek. On this past Wednesday the car was fired up and running smoothly. The only hiccup was with the turbo. Loss of pressure was observed and come to find out oil was pooling in the exhaust housing. I think I know what happened but let's just say I break stuff and leave it at that.
Soooooo I was having a conversation with Jay at Realstreet performance and he suggested something that I had heard before as my brand new 6466 sat on a workbench. After a quick master class I walked out of Realstreet with a 6870. So now what's left is for me to get that on the manifold and then break in the clutch and motor before I start irritating Seb. Right now the car is on Sebs base map. I can already see that in the next month or so I'll be going E85 chasing 800+.

This will be interesting. Wish I had known about it, and you had contacted me before getting the 6870 (which is a perfect turbo for your application).

Could have looked at the oil-less units and simplified your build a bit.

Really looking forward to this, best of luck.

This is going to be a sick setup and a blast to drive.
