Default Faulty Stillen Throttle Body extension cable?

After not driving my 2016 Supercharged 370 Nismo for 2 week, it threw up an Error Code 1233 Just after stating up the Car, cleared the Error Code and within a mile or so threw up Error Code 1239 and went into limp mode, cleared this and then a few miles later threw up another 1239 Error Code and went into limp mode again. The following day it threw up a 1233error Code.

A few days later drove around 150miles without a problem.

Removed the Stillen Throttle Body extension cable today and did and tested each pin/cable which gave a resistance of 0.3ohms.

Any ideas? Is it the Stillen Throttle Body extension cable which is faulty or something else?

Thanks

I just replaced mine and no problems after 6 months with the new "updated" cable. Sucks you have to pay for a cable that came with the kit and has gone bad after a just a year of it being used but ohwell.

Like many of you, I am also experiencing this issue. I have had the Stillen kit on the car since 2016 and hit the issue late summer 2017, shielded the cable and all has been fine until now.

I am now A2A and the temps in the UK are seasonally high, as Bikeracer has stated, and about 100miles into a journey the car fires the same codes and goes into limp. Next day about the same temps and distance and the same thing happens.

I think the problem on my car, at least, is that the extension cable is sitting on the engine block getting a load of direct heat which is causing interference with the signal.

Once you guys have fitted the 'New and Improved' Stillen cable, where are you running it?

The FSM has connector numbers that are industry standard; look in the pin-out sections. Look up the number and then do a web search for that number.

It may be difficult to find a copy of the FSM since Nissan has sent out take-down orders to sites that were hosting it. If you can't find a copy, maybe someone that got it before the take-down took effect can look up the numbers.

Sorry to read about the issues with your Stillen kits. I am now crossing them off of my list for future upgrades. I think the Fast Intentions TT kit is by far a safer bet.

On mine it's the throttle position cable from the drivers side . I have had to replace it before.
