No master cylinder wasn’t replaced due to the fact the car was new with only 2k miles on it ....and after the zspeed clutch was installed everything was fine with the master cylinder ..only thing changed was the Z1 kit to the zspeed kit and all issues are gone

What was the price tag for the repair if you don't mind sharing?

A clutch should never stink (smell). Vibration in the pedal is normal. You should have took it back to the installer to check his work. I can't believe you drove it 2400 miles to break it in. Crazy

I thought the vibration was normal and due to the lighter flywheel at first as well ..After zspeed clutch installed no vibration there..and also had same Z1 clutch kit installed into my supercharged z as well..same installer no vibration no smell no issues ..the 2400 miles wasn’t necessary breakin miles ...just how many miles that was driven before getting it to the Dyno ...the car wasn’t a daily driven car and the issue wasn’t as apparent ...more of a random issue ...but more noticed when I started driving it daily and comparing to the clutch in the supercharged car.

I’m not saying that Z1 clutches are bad or bashing them in anyway but I do believe that particular clutch kit was defective ....can it be proven prolly not but I’m not trying to return it ..just giving info on what I delt with ...and if I had to do it over again ...I would bypass the Z1 clutch kit and go for the zspeed kit ...lighter pedal and much smoother engagement than Z1kit

That's a really good labor price. I've seen much higher prices posted.
