I have everything cut for the engine mounts, but it takes forever to drill everything. The whole things is 304 stainless, so it will outlast the car...but a pain to drill.

Any time line?

Yeah, check out the FB page...have Tuner kits on for Black Friday special for $6,750 to the door. F.I down pipe, recirculated wastegates, no oil cooler.

I’ve never had an issue with mine. Factory headers are pretty shielded and I bagged the turbo.

They melt, I’ve seen it first hand

Then it wasn’t protected properly.

I highly doubt that’s the case, one buddy has replaced 5 filters. Another friend had the heat shield installed filter still melted, and another buddy had a shop install his kit and his filter melted. Plenty more cases where guys have had the filters melt and just haven’t brought up to attention. I plan on racing with this kit, and rather not deal with the headache of a filthy or melted filter.

I have the intake kit. Install was not bad at all.

Then they aren’t doing proper heat management. Doesn’t change that you will feel more comfortable if you move the filter. I have run the kit for almost six years and had no filter issues. If you do proper heat management, it won’t be a problem.
