What’s the CJM one? I can’t find anything on it but a forum thread from a few years ago mentioning it but not real details, price, numbers etc.
I hope we get a price next week. It is the easiest route. Otherwise the choice get's slimmed way way down.

Ha yep! I think I just found it. Looks so freaking sweet but a reroute of just about everything in our engine bay. 😫

That looks similar; seems like the one I remember had twin TB’s up front
I could be mistaken though

That would be out of my turbo's efficiency range I beat. What I would call blowing hot air. The next weak link would be the crank if the block is good to go. Nobody really knows since we are getting into new territory.

I am not sure on the price. The problem is it takes a while for Phunk to make it IF he even has time. You would pay and forget about it for a while until it hits your doorstep type deal.

Well I just read from page 25 to page 87 in one sitting. Wow what a roller coaster. Car is a monster. Amazing how transparent this build has been. I haven't watched all the videos yet but so much LEARNING. wow

Mr. Squeeze took 2 weeks to read it 60 or so pages back. LOL It has been a rollercoaster ride that is for sure.

Yeah I have it set to 40 posts per page so there’s only 87 pages total. The first 25 tool we a week but then when you got the car back the first time. And it blew up, I couldn’t stop reading. Good stuff.

EDIT:

So Spooler. I watching some of the videos and thinking about my own build, i'm trying to learn from what you've done here. I'm wondering about displacement now. Would increasing displacement allow me to reach higher HP with lower boost and lower compression (and worse fuel, we don't have ethanol at the pump here, i'm not going to mix my own fuel). The Brian Crower stroker kit comes to mind. Boring larger on the stock block seems iffy from the information I've gathered from your thread, would allow for much easier distortion of the cylinder it seem. But larger sleeves maybe? What's the reason you didn't increase displacement in either of your engine builds?

I didn't see a need in increasing displacement. To go to a 4.0 liter I would have needed a stroker crank. I am happy with the power I have to be honest. The car is a handful now. More than most can drive. I have been driving turbo cars for years. Good luck getting in the 700hp range on pump gas. It can be done but longevity I do not know. You can go to a much larger bore with Darton MID sleeves. If you have never had a high hp car, start out at a lower hp and work your way up.

Yep that's the plan. I've layed out my stages and will be staying NA for a while before going to moderate boost. Staying on that for a while before building the engine and turning it up. I have a lot of driver training and track days in mind.
