It is more expensive to replace an engine than to nut up and run the good stuff when needed.

Agreed! I will not be at full boost at the track and will keep a barrel of e90 on hand for those special occasions on long fast tracks.

Lucky!!! It is a good thing it is cheap for you as you will burn through it like burning dollar bills. I got as low as 2.5 mpg and never more than 4. You may be closer to 4 as Sebring is a long track and so you aren't shifting constantly as you would be on track that is mile to 2.5 miles long.

Since I am working from home my E85 station as 1hr away. I don't drive that much so I have a feeling my Ignite Red stash will get depleted really quick. Once I empty a barrel I have a feeling I will take it to fill it up with pump E85. LOL

Back in the day when I got my first diesel truck I had plans on moving to a place with some land and getting one of those bad boys for diesel fuel and all of that went away especially after EPA put heavy fines on folks for using bulk fuels for agriculture in their personal vehicles. Also there are EPA rules for storage of bulk fuels. Some cities have limit on how much fuel you can store at your house. I'm pretty sure I store more than allowed already lol.

Single wall tank needs to be in a dike. A double wall doesn't. We had a couple of the double wall tanks at the power plant. We put those in a dike too. Just to keep the powers to be off our necks. Diesel, kerosene, and gasoline.

Exactly, everything changed in the 90s due to Super Fund or ground water and soil contamination because of petroleum products.

I was just giving an example of an option not necessarily recommending a single wall tank.

I remember every summer in the early 70's visiting the grandparents farm in Indiana. My grandpa would fill up one of his 100 gallon overhead tanks with premium for us. Cost him a whole $25.00.
