Looking at that blue piston ring poking out it appears you stuck a ring when the rings butted and the piston broke. That's what caused the rod to break. The piston is cracked several places at the ring land. Wish I could see the top side.

Hey Bobby. You don't have to worry about using oil catch cans with that block. There's no crank case pressure to being with.........and no oil. Just a little blow by on one cylinder. Does look like someone used a chainsaw on that block.

Seen the other post about the roll bar. Figured you're planning on one. Logically the next step.

Yep, Seb posted a video of him draining the oil pan and it was all coolant! I don't think that should happen either. I had a good run...five years on stock block.

yea and a TON of track use! That tuning and kit lasted forever on that stock block! Absolutely awesome.

You just posted something gorgeous (the video) AND absolutely gnarly

LMAO, the cage is badass! They made me a sweet deal on it. There is more to come as they are doing a series of videos on my build.
