Not worried about that so much. It was hot as crap on they dyno. 94 deg. He has 6 hrs in it so far. I expect to need 2 to 3 more hours at least. Everything looks great so far.

Scheduled to be back on the dyno Wednesday morning to finish up the tuning.

I am so ready to get my car back. Boy do I miss it. Not much longer. The next thing to address is the transmission. I am not gonna worry about that until next year. I just want to drive and enjoy the car for a while.

I see that SOHO is getting close to releasing their transmission to the public

They are in the testing phase. I will hold off until next year unless mine breaks.

The biggest thing for me is the car is going to make more useable power after Nick get's done with it. You get to a point when you get tired of the dang car trying to kill you. You can't enjoy it that way. No doubt this is a learn as you go type deal. Learn what you like and what you don't like. I am sure it will make great power. Not worried about that at all.

This ^^^^^. When you put your toe out there in uncharted territory you are going to have to fix a few things along the way. Some you can afford right then, some you have to save up for, and some you have to wait for someone to come up with a fix or find the person that knows how to fix it. It's all part of modding a car and making it your own.

I am just about ready for the Racing part again. I can't wait.

Well, it appears SOHO broke their 3rd gear again on the new trans with heat treated gears. Time for billet gear sets. That's not gonna be cheap.

I saw that, kinda of disappointing cause it doesn’t look like it’ll be cost-feasible for the average joe. Might be cheaper to go built t56 if you wanna keep the manual. I think I’m gunna try a th400 in mine cause I just drag race

The DCT would need to be upgraded also if over 1000whp.

I am just going to stay off the drag strip and prepped tracks. See how long it may last.

Stock gear set, faceplated t56 magnum will handle 1800whp

I have a T5 in my 1975 280zt. They shift like chit. A T56 won't even get close to my car. LOL

I will go with a DCT before a turd of a T56 goes in my car.
